Also... About this "Blade of Glory." You could click on the link of my name, and see that its not so glorious afterall...
Also, I recently picked up Mortal Kombat: Armaggedon, and it made me realize that the heroes in this comic look like MK characters. I could just see Silver roaring "Mortality!" when he kills anything or saying "Do you think its a Koincidence?" and such. Just a fun thought.
In the second pane, there's this button where a guy comes out from the right.
Err how to view it. Well, when you press tab in FireFox and there's a flash file going, a yellow box highlights the buttons...
Anyways, here's the URL to just the Flash. I think the creator made a mistake. DD is cutting off the pane that would allow you to not cheat but see the easter egg.

Place your cursor over the second pane and move it to the right. Eventually, it's exit the pane. Keep going, about 1 cm later you'll see the guy popup.

Yeah, well I searched for it then couldn't find. So I was like f*ck it. Then I found it and realized that I couldn't find it fairly anyways, due to DD. So, it's not really cheating this time. :)
I had completely forgotten about "tabbing" a flash file... Sort of ruins the purpose of hiding an Easter Egg, huh?
Hovering the mouse over the glowing lava in the second panel reveals the Easter Egg - I don't see how DD could mess that up.
Oh, I nearly forgot, about the Mortal Kombat thing...
I'm not familiar with the new MKs, but I've played all the MKs to come out on the Super Nintendo (I think it was up to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3). Ah, good ol' times...
But anyway, when I first came up with the idea for Ninja Shizatch (which was just a flash animation with the Silver Ninja randomly killing a bunch of other ninjas in badass/funny ways), all the ninjas looked pretty much like the Lin Kuie ninjas in Mortal Kombat.
As the flash series progressed, and eventually became a webcomic, I kept a certain MK feel to the characters.
There is even a character named Jade in MK;

although Jade from NS was not intentionally named after her (all the chick ninjas in MK dressed the same way as in the pic above).
Shadow's second pair of pants in book 1 were partially inspired by Kano's:

and his overall look may have unintentionally been inspired from Liu Kang (though I never liked Liu Kang, so I would never have purposely used him as a model):

Silver's hat is completely based on Raiden's:

and at one point in the animated series, when the Silver Ninja becomes the Silver Samurai, he looked exactly like standard-issue Lin Kui ninja, plus Raiden hat:

Unfortunately, the Super NES was my last game system, so I haven't had the opportunity to play any recent MK game, so I don't quite know what the characters look like anymore - 12 years have past, so I'm sure they've changed somewhat.
Snes is still my favorite system, but I shelled out the $250 for the PS2 forever ago. It was the first DVD player owned by any member of my family :)
MK:A is fun, so far. Alot of the game centers around making and customising your own Kombatant, which is a blast!
BTW, I can't find the Easter Egg in this one, but the chick in white looks fun!
Man I wish MK:A could come out on PC… or that a feasible PS2 emulator will be created…
Don’t look for Easter Eggs unless I say there is one hidden – I’m working a couple jobs at the moment, and I’m doing my best not to fall behind with NS, so I haven’t had time to put in any Easter Eggs. Also, I’ll need to find a way to prevent monkeyhood’s method of “tab-ing” from working – and I think I know how; it’s a stretch, but worth a shot. And I don’t considerate it cheating – he found the Easter Egg, and he was smart enough to think of an unconventional way of doing so. Kudos.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I loled at the Blades of Glory thang. Nice.

Silver was the original star of Ninja Shizatch, before it became a webcomic. He's an integral part of Ninja Shizatch, and isn't going anywhere anytime soon ;)
The costumes are great (I don't think I've commented here yet), and much better than before.
