To Ninjas in general... What is your stance on Global Warming?
Yeah, so I was thinking of writing a ASSEMBLER program to act as a low-level driver for my GPU, but then I started wondering if the Windows 5.1.2600 kernel would allow me to insert my code assuming that I had ring 0 access and that the execute disable bit functionality was disabled. Then I thought of altering the code in the hardware abstraction layer, only to realize that although it would give me my desired low-level functionality, I would have limited high-level functionality which I also need. Any suggestions?
